Cancer — the weekly forecast for Week 43 of 2026
Cancer · ruled by Moon · water element · 19 October–25 October
🌙 Moon with Mars in the 7th, Jupiter in the 8th, Saturn in the 9th bhava
⭐ Best: Friday
🌙 Weekly Moon-transit reading
Auspicious Week of Boundless Love and Prosperity → The Lesson of the 8th-House Moon — Patience and Self-Protection → Time of Paternal Distress and the Testing of Fortune
For Cancer this week is like an inward journey. On Tuesday the Moon stands in your 7th bhava — a sign of Auspicious Week of Boundless Love and Prosperity, a call to courage and to action. By Thursday it has moved to the 8th bhava — The Lesson of the 8th-House Moon — Patience and Self-Protection, as though Guru were stopping you to show a deeper meaning in life. And on Saturday the Moon reaches the 9th bhava — Time of Paternal Distress and the Testing of Fortune, carrying Saturn's own patience and its reckoning of karma. Taken together, the teaching of these three days is this: life is change itself, and every change is for the soul's growth.

Monday
🔭 In the astrologer's view — Cancer's week
My advice for Cancer natives — choose Friday this week for an important decision or for beginning new work, because the planetary positions favour you then. Ketu is presently in the second house for you — and under its influence: ☋ Under this placement, failing to exercise absolute restraint over your speech will lead to massive chaos and unrest—hold your tongue firmly. Against that, Monday calls for extra care — Do not fall into deep despair over unmet, overly high expectations, Beware of taking massive risks. The joy of United Nations Day, Maha Ashtami, Maha Navami, Vijaya Dashami, Papankusha Ekadashi, Kojagari Lakshmi Puja will be woven into this week's reading as well. All in all, attention given to Attending social events, parties, and vibrant wedding ceremonies, Profound research this week will bring good results over the long run.

The lucky number, day and colour here are the sign's own — derived from its ruling planet Moon, so they hold all year. A “lucky number for today”, which changes from day to day, is not given here; that is for an astrologer to judge from the birth chart and the day's planetary positions. The date range is computed from this year's sankranti in the Lahiri ayanamsa.
