MyAstrology further guarantees that it will not make any direct or indirect use of any information contained in the predictions for any member, except for the express purpose of returning horoscope charts and predictions to that member.
In the event of a change in our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. Your continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of our updated Privacy Policy.
During booking and consultation, MyAstrology collects your name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and phone number. This information is used to calculate your horoscope accurately. Clear photographs of both palms are collected via WhatsApp for palmistry analysis. You are not required to provide personal information simply to browse the website.
When you visit myastrology.in, MyAstrology and third-party service providers may collect information about your browsing activity including IP address, browser type, screen resolution, pages visited and time spent on site. This data is used in aggregate to improve site performance and user experience and is not used to personally identify individual visitors.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand visitor behaviour. This data is anonymised and does not personally identify you. You may opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We collect information necessary to complete the services provided through our booking forms. We guarantee strict confidentiality of our members' identities, birth details and predictions. MyAstrology will not use any information contained in the predictions for any purpose other than delivering the booked service to the member.
We do not collect or store any payment information (card numbers, CVV, UPI credentials or banking passwords) on our servers. All payments are processed securely by Razorpay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway licensed by the Reserve Bank of India. A payment receipt including the Payment ID is sent to the customer via WhatsApp as confirmation.
Information shared via WhatsApp — including palm photographs, birth details and floor plans for Vastu consultations — is used solely to deliver the requested service. This information is not shared with any third party. Phone and video consultations are not recorded.
Any information received via email or other communication channels relating to specific services is used only to address your specific needs and is not added to any member profile or shared externally.
Both myastrology.in and the MyAstrology mobile app offer an optional "Sign in with Google" feature so your saved kundali profiles and preferences can sync across devices and browsers. If you choose to sign in, we receive and store your name, email address and profile photo (as shared by Google) in our database (Firebase/Firestore). If you save kundali profiles — your own or family members' — while signed in, those birth details (name, date, time and place of birth) are also mirrored to this database so they remain available if you sign in again on another device or after clearing your browser's data. This information is used only to identify your account and sync your saved data — it is not sold, rented or shared with any third party for marketing. Our database security rules restrict this data so that only you can read or write it (our site administrators can only see that an account exists, not your saved profiles). You may stop using this feature at any time by signing out; to request deletion of this account data, contact us using the details in Section 6.
Both the website and the app let you optionally enable push notifications (daily panjika/rashifal etc.) via OneSignal, a push-notification service. No personal information beyond a device/browser notification identifier is shared with OneSignal for this purpose. You can turn this off at any time from your browser's site settings (website) or the app's Settings (app).
Birth details you enter for the kundali/panchang calculators while not signed in are stored only in your own browser or device, to save you re-entering them — they are not transmitted to or stored on our servers unless you sign in as described above, or you separately submit a booking or consultation request as described in Section A. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data (website) or from the app's Settings (app).
We do not collect payment information on our website. All payment data is handled by Razorpay using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). We follow reasonable technical and procedural measures to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
Our website may contain links to external websites including our blog, YouTube channel and social media profiles. MyAstrology is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date shown at the top. We may also notify you of significant changes via WhatsApp or a website notice. Your continued use of our website and services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
